خرج الآلاف من فلسطينيي الأراضي المحتلة عام 1948، اليوم الثلاثاء في مظاهرة تنديدا بالانتهاكات التي يمارسها الجيش الإسرائيلي في كل من القدس والضفة الغربية وقطاع غزة، والتي أودت بحياة أزيد من 30 فلسطينيا. ورفع المتظاهرون في بلدة سخنين الأعلام الفلسطينية، معبرين عن استنكارهم للاعتداءات التي يتعرض لها الشباب الفلسطيني منذ مطلع شهر أكتوبر الجاري. وهتف المتظاهرون الذين قدر عددهم بالآلاف بشعارات منددة بما يحصل في الأراضي الفلسطينية.
وأشار رئيس بلدية سخنين، أن عدد المتظاهرين فاق 40 ألفا، مضيفا أن المظاهرة كانت ناجحة بكل المقاييس، على اعتبار أنها أظهرت روح التضامن بين أبناء الشعب الفلسطيني.
ولم تكن هذه المظاهرة الأولى من نوعها منذ اندلاع المواجهات بين الفلسطينيين والجيش الإسرائيلي، حيث سبق وخرج فلسطينيو 48 في مظاهرات خلال الأسبوع المنصرم، في كل من الناصرة وكفر قاسم ويافا، ما دفع سلطات الاحتلال إلى شن موجة اعتقالات في صفوف الشباب الفلسطيني، كان معظمهم من القاصرين.
هذا ووجهت الشرطة الإسرائيلية مجموعة من التهم إلى معتقليها من الفلسطينيين، خاصة القاصرين، حيث أدانتهم برشق الحجارة والإخلال بالنظام.
وفي سياق متصل، أدانت عدد من المؤسسات الدولية على رأسها الأمم المتحدة حوادث القتل التي ينفذها الجنود الإسرائيليون والمستوطنون في حق الفلسطينيين في القدس والضفة الغربية.
ووصفت السلطة الفلسطينية حوادث القتل، والتي راح ضحيتها 30 فلسطينيا على الأقل منذ اندلاع المواجهات مع الجيش الإسرائيلي، بـ “إعدامات ميدانية” في حق الشعب الفلسطيني. وأكدت منظمة التحرير الفلسطينية على لسان أمين سرها، صائب عريقات، أن إسرائيل تنهج أسلوب الإعدامات الميدانية في حق الفلسطينيين.

وأضافت المنظمة أن الجيش الإسرائيلي بات يستند إلى حجج واهية من أجل قتل الشباب الفلسطيني، في إشارة إلى حادث مقتل الشاب الفلسطيني الذي اتهمته الشرطة الإسرائيلية بمحاولة طعن مستوطنين يهود في مستوطنة “بسغات زئيف” بالقدس المحتلة، الأمر الذي نفته عائلته وشهود عيان.

Well I’ve done it and can’t say I enjoyed it much. Thought the best clue was 10a even though it took me until I go 1d to work it out. Took an elderly friend to the hospital for some tests and had time to sit with it. For ages I had scales as the answer for 5a. That of course meant a delay in getting 6d and 7d. Once I put in 10a I was okay.Didn’t like several of them – 9d, 16d, 23a, 28a and so on.Hope tomorrow is better.

Something I’ve never understood is: what is the mentality behind making us watch ads here on Youtube? Financially I can understand it perfectly, but do they seriously think that interrupting a playlist, for example, will make us want to buy their product? Ads are annoying enough as is, and Youtube is the last place you want to find un-skipable ones.I’m sorry, but Youtube isn’t the new TV, it’s not going to replace TV, and if you think it will then well… there’s just no hope for you.

I really don’t understand why everyone’s debating on which word was written on the wall. It could be “LOVE”, “DEATH”, “FUCK”…The reason they didn’t? clarify in the song is directly so people would have their own ideas about what that same “word” could be. I was going to say the same thing as Peter. We have provided pizza for families struggling with illness and they seemed to love it. I have found that especially families with kids would much rather have a good pizza than some home-cooked meal that is unfamiliar. Kids are picky and pizza is something they will always eat.
