ووصف عبيدي في حوار مع موقع قناة TV5 قرار السلطات التونسية بناء جدار أمني على الحدود مع ليبيا بأنه “هروب للأمام”، وأنه أبعد ما يكون عن تقديم إجابة شاملة من أجل احتواء الإرهاب.
وتوقع الباحث الجزائري أن يقود هذا القرار إلى نتائج عكسية بالنظر إلى أن الجدار لن يمنع من بقاء عدد من نقط العبور في متناول “الإرهابيين”.
ولفت عبيد الانتباه إلى أن أكثر الملتحقين بصفوف الجماعات المسلحة ينحدرون من تونس، مما يفرض على الحكومة الانتباه أولا إلى معالجة المشاكل الاقتصادية الاجتماعية والسياسية التي تعيشها تونس، والنظر في الدوافع التي تجعل مواطنين ينقلبون على بلدهم ويحملون ضدها السلاح.
وأشار مدير مركز الدراسات الأبحاث حول العالم العربي ودول المتوسط إلى أن معالجة مشكل الإرهاب لا تتم من خلال بناء جدار رملي.

For a couple years now, I've been keeping a cheap pair of safety glasses (I actually got them free at work) and my old ear muffs in my range bag. There have been a couple times when I've loaned out the glasses, and once I caught a family that brought their 10ish year old son along with no hearing or eye protection for him, so I loaned them mine. Being Texans, they had the good grace to be embarrassed that they needed to borrow something from a stranger.

The drawback to getting an AMEX Black Centurion Card is the current $2500 annual fee which is putting a major dent into majority of the cash back you’ll be initially doing. While it would be nice if we could somehow keep the flowers’ original color, I kind of like the surprise that comes with the drying process as well as how the dried petals will then react with the clay. I always prepare my customers for the possible surprise and they’ve all accepted it very well. It’s good to experiment though and I do apprciate hearing what has been tried. I’m leaning toward the Yuba since it seems to be more stable with larger loads. No frame flexion even with 200-300 lbs plus rider….I look to be getting your touring book in the next few months. In general, I tend to think salary comparisons based on years of experience are unhelpful. (Unless you’re very junior). Salary is linked to talent and the ability to add value to your agency and your clients’ business. Whatever department you work in, if you can do this in a demonstrably excellent way, you should be able to get a well-paid job at a good agency. Strong planners earn more than weak creatives. And vice versa. Which is as it should be.
