أعربت جامعة الدول العربية عن أسفها لتدهور الوضع الأمني الذي تعيشه العاصمة الليبية طرابلس، جراء الاقتتال الدائر بين الأطراف المتنازعة، مؤكدة أنها لا تحبذ ولا تؤيد أي تدخل أجنبي، وأنها ترى أن تقوم الدول العربية بحل مشاكلها بنفسها، أو بمساعدة الدول الشقيقة بعيدًا عن التدخل الأجنبي في شؤون الدول العربية.
وقال الأمين العام المساعد للشؤون السياسية السفير فاضل محمد جواد، اليوم الثلاثاء، إن الجامعة تتابع بقلق واهتمام كبيرين تطورات الأوضاع المؤسفة في ليبيا، نظرًا لأنها دولة مهمة وشقيقة للدول العربية، معربًا عن أسفه إزاء ما يدور هناك حاليًّا.
وأضاف أنه شارك ممثلاً للأمين العام للجامعة في افتتاح مجلس النواب الليبي الجديد، حيث تم اختيار رئيسه رغم مقاطعة عدد قليل من النواب هذه الجلسة، نظرًا لوجود تحفظات لهم على انعقاد هذا المجلس في مدينة طبرق بدلاً من بنغازي، مؤكدًا أن هذا الاجتماع كان شرعيًّا، حيث يسمح الدستور بعقد مجلس النواب في مكان آخر.
واعتبر جواد أن عمل المجلس يعد خطوة سياسية كبيرة للعملية السياسية في ليبيا، معربًّا عن أمله في أن يساهم هذا المجلس، وبمساعدة دول الجوار والدول العربية الأخرى، في إرساء السلام والطمأنينة في ليبيا.
وردًا على سؤال حول موقف الجامعة العربية من طلب البرلمان الليبي التدخل الدولي لحماية المدنيين، وحل التشكيلات المسلحة، قال جواد «إن الجامعة العربية لا تحبذ ولا تؤيد التدخل الأجنبي في ليبيا”، مؤكدًا أن خلفية مثل هذا القرار تعود إلى مجلس النواب الليبي، فهو مَن يسمح أو يمنع، أما موقفنا في الجامعة العربية فهو أن تقوم الدول العربية بحل مشاكلها بنفسها أو بمساعدة الدول الشقيقة ولا نحبذ التدخل الأجنبي في شؤون الدول العربية”.
وأضاف “إن الجامعة العربية تشارك بفعالية في الاجتماعات الخاصة بدول الجوار الليبي، التي عُقدت والتي ستُعقد لاحقًا من أجل مساعدة الليبيين في تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار”.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. I like this April Fools' joke YouTube has done. Last year's TEXT mode was cool too with applying video effects. I like the color correction, layers and gradients, and scratches on the 1911 mode. The music going along with it is nice too, though I'm kind of sad it muted the original audio. At least all the things done were fairly accurate of a real 1911 movie. Great work YouTube, you've shown you can power your video player with ASCII generation and even advanced effects like the ones stated.

I bought an eee pc at harrods in london yesterday afternoon. Today I’m back in South Africa playing around with it. I’m a bit disappointed with not getting my EXTERNAL (what a pity) hspda modem to work. I’m using my old laptop to type this message and the Huawei 220 works fine, but my eee pc simply does not see it. Tested all the usb ports they work fine with other devices??? Anyone have an idea why i have this problem?

Good post. I agree that many retirees look to get very conservative once they hit retirement. While nobody is saying they should have an excessive allocation to stocks and other risky assets, they do need to have enough growth potential built in to keep ahead of inflation. As you point out even a seemingly low 3% inflation rate can erode purchasing power over a normal retirement period. A 3% rate of inflation will cut one’ purchasing power in 1/2 every 24 years.
