Great post that I wish I’d written myself, one thing to add is that the whole of Dutch landscape and history can be seen as a kind of resistance to and acknowledgement of the sea. The polder system which is on the surface just a land reclaimation sytem, is for a Dutchman something more. A political sytem, an ownership structure, a landscape. As your post so well implies to bring this to the u.S. is more than just to implement some mega projects and some planning rules but reconcieve how land and water thought of.

Is it known whether or not Kim Brusco had anything to do with the rebranding of the Redhook bottles and packaging? If so, that’s a huge plus for Pyramid as I think what Redhook did last year with all their rebranding was great. It set them aside in my mind with the clean designs and different style bottles.

This deck interests me because I have been struggling with spirituality for quite some time now. I just got an Alchemy 1977 England deck and have been using it for self meditation and reading but I still need a deck to practice reading others. Hi Beth, You can use plain whipped cream – but you have to fill just prior to serving because the moisture int he cream will soften the macaron. You can also flavour cream by boiling it with different things just like you do when making ganache (see the ginger macaron or orange macaron post for instructions on that) but then instead of using it to make ganache sweeten to taste with a little icing sugar and put in the fridge to cool completely, then whip as normal.
