اهتزت أفغانستان وباكستان والهند، صباح يومه الإثنين، على وقع زالزال قوي، بلغت شدته 7.5 درجة على مقياس ريختر.
وذكرت وكالة “الأناظول”، نقلا عن مركز المسح الجيولوجي الأمريكي، أن مركز الزلزال هو جبال هندوكوش، الواقعة على بعد 254 كم شمال غربي العاصمة الأفغانية كابول، وعلى عمق 212.5 كم تحت سطح الأرض.
وذكرت الإذاعة الباكستانية، من جانبها، أن شدة الزلزال بلغت 8.1 درجة، حيث أصيب الأهالي في كابول والعاصمة الباكستانية إسلام أباد بالهلع، وخرجوا إلى الشوارع، وتوقفت حركة المرور، في حين انقطع التيار الكهربائي في الكثير من المدن.
وقتل 29 شخصا على الأقل في الزلزال العنيف الذي ضرب مناطق في أفغانستان وباكستان والهند. ففي باكستان، قتل 12 شخصا على الأقل في مدينة بيشاور، حسبما ذكرت مصادر حكومية. وفي أفعانستان، ذكرت مصادر طبية أن قتل 17 شخصا على الأقل وأصيب نحو 100 آخرين بجروح.

I have a few tricks. I grab sections and hold it where I want to cut and cut above my hand. I do the back that way without looking. Just by feeling. I go at it from a lot of different angles and use the point of the scissors rather than cutting straight. I also now have a pair of thinning scissors and that helps a lot. I try not to think much about it. I told my husband that I just cut off the hair that isn't supposed to be there. Lol!

Happy birthday!!! I do notice the age of the couple. I do not connect as well with the older ones (since I am almost 24) but I do like the couples in their 30′s the best. I always feel like such a slacker when the couple is in their 20′s and ruling the world. Not anything like me.

Worst of all are screwcap? wine bottles (when you try to open at the serrated part, the bottom rotates as well; hopeless task). So I take exception to the speaker’s comment that opening screwcap wine bottles is “straightforward”. To the contrary! It is the most difficult of all bottle/jar/can activities to accomplish.

We live in Florida and have a peach tree that produced wonderfully the year before last and then this year the squirrels ate every last peach off of it before they were even ripe. We were very sad. The pie plates sound like a good idea but we have neighbors that may not appreciate the noise.
